Short Storyline of Final Fantasy X

Welcome to the world of Spira. Come to a world that has been devastated by a mysterious force known as 'Sin'. Human existence teeters on the brink of extinction when Sin willfully destroys cities an lives.

Your journey begins with a rising star of a futuristic underwater sport called "Blitzball", his name is Tidus. Somehow he is mysteriously forced by Sin, dragged into the world of Spira. His only goal at this point is to find and return to his homeland Zanarkand.

Along his journey he meets Yuna, a determined young woman who learns the ancient art of Summoning and calling upon magical creatures and powerful spirits called Aeons. They are joined by a lively cast of friends who aid in their quest to defeat Sin and bring peace to the world again.
