CC Group

Once you've played enough Card games at Balamb Garden and after you have build up your reputation as a Card playing by defeating some of the Card Players at Balamb Garden, you can start this quest. If you're won around 15 Card games you can most likely already challenge them. Battle the guy in the library entrance, by the bookshelf's, since he has all of the Cards up to level 5.

The CC Group is a collection of seven Card game players. They all have a solid set of cards and they know their game. By defeating them, you can collect some Rare Cards to add to your collection. You will need to play them one at a time from the lowest-ranking member to the highest-ranking member. Refer to the list below to see the order and location of the CC Group members.

CC Group Members

#1 Jack Location: In the Balamb Garden Hallway near the Directory. He likes to enter from the bottom of the screen on either side of the divider. He has no Rare Cards.	#2 Club Location: In the Balamb Garden Hallway near the entrance to the Cafeteria. Club appears randomly and can be difficult to find. Club has no Rare Cards.	#3 Diamond Location: In front of the Directory in the Balamb Garden Hallway. Diamond is actually a pair of female SeeD cadets. They hold no Rare Cards.
#4 Spade Location: On the second floor of Balamb Garden, next to the elevator. Spade is one of two people that normally hangs out in this area. He has no Rare Cards.	#5 Heart Location: On the bridge of Balamb Garden, once it becomes mobile. Heart is actually Xu and she has a Rare Card for you: the Carbuncle Card.	#6 Joker Location: Inside the Training Center of Balamb Garden. Joker appears randomly and isn't always easy to find. He holds the Leviathan Card and he will upgrade your Battle Meter to include GF information if you defeat him. You can challenge Joker at any time once you have beaten Jack.
	#7 King Location: It can be hard to find King. Speak with Nida on the bridge and then visit the Infirmary and challenge Dr. Kadowaki to a game. She will suggest tat you'll soon find King. Now, return to your dorm room and take a nap. King will appear while you are resting. You can win the Gilgamesh Card from King.

You need to defeat the CC Group, and the CC King before Disk 4. If you do, they will show up on the Ragnarok, and challenge you there. If you do not, you will lose them for good. If you do get the CC Members on Disk 4, you can challenge them to any Rare Cards you might have traded in for items. Also you can win the Card Queens set from the Diamond Duo.
