Personality

Ward is a temporary playable character in Final Fantasy VIII. He is very strong and intimidating, but he is also quite gentle when he's off the battle field. He handles a very heavy Harpoon weapon in battles, which he throws at his enemies. He fights alongside his friends, Laguna and Kiros.

History

When Ward was young, he enlisted himself with the Galbadian army where he served with Laguna and Kiros. The Harpoon he used in battle is almost as large as himself, so his attacks proved very powerful and effective. During the last mission with the Galbadian Army, he gets lost together with Laguna and Kiros and accidentally ended up in the Lunatic Pandora, where he loses his voice after fighting with Esthar Soldiers.

Later, he left the Galbadian Army and became a janitor in the D-District Prison, which Zell later has flashbacks about. Much later, he moves on to better things in Esthar. Through good and bad times, he always carried a heart of the size of his body and valued the well-being of his friends above everything else!

Fighting Style

Not much to say about his fighting style, Ward just handles the Harpoon and he does it pretty well!
